There’s something electric about a summer wedding that leans fully into who the couple is – bold, intentional, and completely unapologetic. This modern and funky summer wedding was exactly that. Set on one of the hottest days of the season, it unfolded as a vibrant Jewish celebration layered with texture and emotion.
This wedding struck the perfect balance between stylish and soulful. The design leaned both modern and funky – sculptural florals, unexpected color palettes, and an eye for fashion. Clean lines met playful elements. Flourish Farmette in Manheim, PA was the perfect venue for such a vision.
Jewish weddings are layered with tradition, and this one honored them with intention and joy. The ceremony was emotional and grounding, filled with moments that felt both ancient and completely present. As a documentary wedding photographer, photographing Jewish celebrations is especially meaningful. There’s rhythm, depth, and community built into every moment – and those are the stories I aim to preserve.
This wedding begged for film photography. The softness of film paired beautifully with the harsh summer light, balancing contrast while preserving warmth and texture. Film slows the process down – it requires intention. On a day filled with movement and emotion, film photography allowed me to be deliberate while still capturing the energy of the celebration.
This modern and funky summer wedding was a reminder that weddings don’t need to follow rules to be meaningful. When couples trust their vision and allow the day to unfold naturally, the result is something unforgettable.
